BIOGRAPHY

Sushanta Bhandarkar is one of Real Estate 38’s dedicated senior partner agents and has been a part of the Hanna Group since its inception. Sushanta can easily be characterized as impassioned, driven, and ready to take on any challenge — if she’s not already pursuing a challenge of her own. From first-time homebuyers to move-up sellers, Sushanta strives to serve clients from every walk of life.

Originally from India, Sushanta moved to the U.S. in 1998 and settled in the Bay Area in 2001. After earning her master’s degree in microbiology, she soon became the Head of Microbiology at a prestigious hospital in India, and later worked to receive her associate’s degree in interior design. Sushanta’s combined analytical and creative experience has contributed to her ingenuity, skillful problem-solving, and strong work ethic as a Realtor®. Outside of work, Sushanta manifests her creativity in photography, painting, cooking, and traveling, and has worked to gain additional experience in business ownership, marketing, and sales.

Living by the motto “Love what you do, and get the job done,” Sushanta dedicates herself to going beyond every transaction. Instead, she grows relationships. Her clients’ well-being is her top priority, and she is deeply proud to be a part of their real estate journeys.

Community activism is also a significant part of Sushanta’s life and mission. An avid philanthropist, Sushanta even runs her own nonprofit, Empowering World Change, which is an organization centered on sustainability and literacy. Her belief in giving back has led her to participate in a variety of charities and embrace a holistic mindset. Because of Sushanta’s dedication, Real Estate 38’s team and clients have had the opportunity to get involved and make a change together. A firm negotiator, enthusiastic Realtor®, and committed altruist, Sushanta is the embodiment of a strong and determined businesswoman.
